Parking
A number of concerns have been raised regarding parking issues around both entrances to the school.
Unfortunately, these include some people parking on pavements, obstructing roads and residents’ driveways, and blocking access to the alleys by parking over the yellow lines.
Obviously this is inconvenient to residents and sometimes means that staff are unable to park where they are supposed to, however, more importantly it is also very dangerous for children who are walking to and from school.
The local authority is monitoring the situation at the moment; however, I hope that we can all work together to try to alleviate the situation.
With this in mind I would like to request that you;
- Avoid parking in Laurel Road
- Respectfully take due care that your vehicle is not obstructing driveways or alleys; and
- Avoid using the (already overcrowded) staff car park.
